Hiking Canyon Overlook Trail in Zion National Park

When my best friend and I went to Zion National Park we wanted to get in as many hikes as possible. We found Canyon Overlook Trail and it did not disappoint.

The hike was a little difficult to find. A lot of the roads were unmarked but the directions we found told us exactly what to look for and we were able to find all the cars at the trailhead. Thankfully, one of us has a good sense of direction (the other will remain nameless).

A good portion of the trail was flat. It is a very exposed trail so I would suggest starting early, bring lots of water, and wear sunscreen.

I love doing hikes when I don't know what to expect. As soon we started getting closer where we could see, I knew the views were going to be incredible.

We reached the peak and there were people in all areas taking in the views.

Take in all sides of the peak. The canyons were absolutely breathtaking.

We found a tree that provided some shade and ate our lunch with these views.

I did see a little chipmunk named "Dale" running around. Usually anywhere I go, I will friend some animal.

I think this was as close to the edge I could get her.

Zion National Park is incredible. It should be a MUST visit for everyone. There are still quite a few hikes I want to do when I visit again.
