The Soul Summit Podcast

Two years ago, if you had told me I would be on a podcast, I would have found it laughable. While the idea of having a podcast had briefly occurred to me over the years, it never went beyond just a passing thought. The Soul Summit Podcast has not only been beneficial for our listeners but has also contributed to my personal growth and development.

I came across Courtney Prete from Her Outdoor Journey on Instagram. Following her for a while, I found myself captivated by her experiences and wisdom. When she mentioned a women's Bible study in her stories, I felt compelled to join. Embracing my habit of saying yes, I decided to participate. Our connection blossomed swiftly through our shared stories and mutual desire for a transformative lifestyle. Courtney's narrative of triumph and zest for life deeply inspired me, making her a valuable source of guidance and encouragement. She is a dedicated advocate for personal growth and empowerment. The mission of Her Outdoor Journey resonated with me, prompting me to support her cause wholeheartedly.

One day, a notification appeared informing me that Courtney was seeking Co-Hosts for her podcast. Once again, I felt compelled to accept. Despite my initial hesitations, I decided to push past my fears and uncertainties. After a few days, I finally sat down one evening, completed the application, and submitted it before I could talk myself out of it. Shortly after, we had an interview where we delved into my motivations for joining the Podcast and the contributions I believed I could make. Discussing myself is not something I particularly enjoy, but recognizing your own value and potential contributions is essential for personal growth. Your input is crucial, as it is where your true influence can be found. She extended the offer to join, and the rest, as they say, is history. I am incredibly grateful to have been a part of two seasons already and am looking forward to my third.

As I prepare for another season, I look back on the amazing guests I have had the privilege of spending time with. These are individuals who were once strangers to me, but have now become dear friends. Their influence extends beyond just my life, as the dedication and impact they exhibit in their daily lives is something we should all aspire to. Without their presence, I wouldn't be eagerly returning for more. Their enthusiasm for their respective pursuits is truly inspiring, and many of them have left a lasting impression on my journey. I am immensely grateful to each of them, so let's shift the focus away from me and onto them...

Elena Johnson- "Living Out Your Passions"

I had been following Elena for a while before finally meeting her. Our encounter at the Western Hunting Expo was purely coincidental, as I had been viewing her stories and found myself standing directly behind her. Our connection was instant, and we engaged in profound conversations about life, fear, and impacting the world. Despite the short time we've known each other, she has supported me through thick and thin. I credit her for helping me make significant strides towards my goals. She is such an inspiration aside from her art, which is a blessed gift to this world.

Introducing Chelsee from Ivory Outdoors is quite a challenge because of everything she is. I first came across her on social media and then unexpectedly met her at the Western Hunt Expo, which truly impacted my life. Her online persona of joy, light, and vitality is a true reflection of who she is. At the expo, we immediately connected over our healing journeys, and despite our brief time together there, our friendship has flourished. To be honest, I had no prior knowledge of Scott before meeting him at the Western Hunting Expo last year. However, upon our introduction, we immediately bonded over our personal stories and experiences. Our discussions have centered around our goals, overcoming challenges, and the lasting impact we aspire to make. Scott's own journey has been a great inspiration to me, and a significant conversation we had in Utah last spring prompted me to take major steps towards fulfilling my purpose. Scott debunks the misconception that extending the range of a bow sight encourages unethical shots, emphasizing that the goal is to improve the shooting experience and offer more practice opportunities. He urges archers to understand their limitations and take ethical shots. The conversation also emphasizes the importance of engaging with conservation organizations like Pope and Young and supporting brands that prioritize conservation initiatives.

James Nash- "From Battlefield to Backcountry: A Guide to Mastering the Hunt"

Meeting James in person at the Western Hunting Expo and sharing a meal with friends left a lasting impression on me. Jess Laughter- "Hunting Adventures and Archery Tips"

I am grateful that Jess lives nearby. I have long admired her expertise in hunting and archery. She is determined and does not allow obstacles to hinder her pursuit of her goals.
